Hillsboro IL Backyard Wedding

It feels so personal when the bride and groom only invite a select few to hear them say I do. This wedding was a fun experience off one of the many beautiful bodies of water in Hillsboro IL.

My wife and I enjoyed our time with the bridal party preparing for the ceremony and helping them create fun memories during our photo shoots. The father of our bride made the first look with Cate so special, you could feel the emotion of the day begin to set in when they looked at each other for the first time on her special day.

The ceremony was filled with family and close friends. As guests began to arrive, there was a local snake that decided to crash the party. He was quickly escorted out by one of the guests.

The ceremony flew by and we were off to the bulk of our day, family photos, bridal party photos, and couples portraits. This group of family photos was surprisingly quick, we were able to get everyone in and photos taken quickly which left us more time for couples portraits (you can never have too much time for couples portraits).

So we wrapped up at the ceremony and headed to The Red Rooster in Hillsboro IL. This is where we listed to speeches from those closest to the couple, saw the newlyweds cut their cake, and quickly enjoy a lovely dinner.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs.Wright, I’m so glad we were able to capture your big day!
